Our ecosystem database covers thousands of international organizations with headquarters based all around the world.
These organizations have projects spread in markets including developed and western markets, frontier markets such as Brazil and Eastern Europe, through to emerging markets within Africa, Asia, Latin America and Caribbean.
The ecosystem database allows users to explore the global industry of renewable energy project stakeholders. The intuitive layout makes it easy to discover leads, competitors and potential collaboration partners, with organizations split into categories by their core function - for example ‘developers’, ‘investors’ and ‘lenders’.
The ecosystem can be accessed totally free, and represents the most comprehensive free directory of active renewable energy industry market participants available on the internet today.
It is updated constantly throughout the year by a combination of userbase submissions, and AI, augmented by our very own in-house research team. The dataset is always growing, and our userbase are kept notified of major updates throughout the year. We are used both by small and large organisations – for example, smaller developers tend to use the database to discover and research potential acquirors and investors for their projects, whereas clean energy supermajors seek to discover little-known regional developers which make attractive acquisition targets. To unlock the benefits of cutting edge data-driven toolsets and algorithms, subscribe to one of our premium plans today and unlock your organisation’s full business development potential. We are constantly growing the ecosystem visible on the site, so check back frequently to discover new promising leads and opportunities.
Discover companies, research the industry and collaborate with colleagues to maximise your team’s position in the market. Source capital partners to optimize terms on your most promising projects. Find and shortlist M&A leads - acquisition targets, or potential acquirors to sell your company’s projects and assets to. Alternatively, identify clients and business opportunities to accelerate your company’s growth strategy, or compare your organization's growth against that of your peers and competitors.
The data is captured via a combination of our internal research team and live submissions from our user base, then cleaned and augmented via algorithms, AI and APIs.
The renewable energy industry database is automatically updated by live inputs from the relevant project developers, advisors, lenders and advisors featured within it, plus routine updates made by our team of researchers. Further data streams will be added over time, and the content is reviewed routinely to keep it up-to-date. If there is anything in particular you would like for us to add to the ecosystem database, either for your organization's page or for other pages in the site, then please get in touch via email@example.com.
For example, some regional developers tend to develop solar PV, onshore wind or battery energy storage system (‘BESS’) projects through to ready-to-build (‘RTB’ / ‘shovel ready’) or notice-to-proceed (‘NTP’) stage within their markets. They then use the ecosystem to discover acquirors and/or investors to fund and manage the construction of these projects through to commercial operations date (‘COD’) and beyond. Alternatively, larger developers tend to either develop their own renewable projects from scratch and then build, own and operate them (‘BOO’), potentially later transferring them as an operational project during the course of their lifecycle (‘BOOT’), or they use the ecosystem to discover, research and engage with early stage and RTB projects to acquire and rapidly scale their entry to attractive new markets.
